For context: Four years ago, I had already tried to get my driver’s license. I took lessons at a driving school in Moscow, and my instructor told me I was the worst student in her entire professional experience. To be fair, her opinion wasn’t completely unfounded — but after taking lessons with Denise, I realized things weren’t that bad, and that I actually could learn how to drive. I took about 20 hours of lessons with Denise, and after that I successfully passed my driving test on the first try. ⸻ About Denise: She is an excellent teacher, and I truly believe she can teach anyone. If you’re very afraid of driving, anxious, an immigrant, or not very confident in your English — you should definitely take lessons with her. 1. She speaks clearly, using short and easy-to-understand phrases, often supported with gestures. Her phrases are now literally in my head while I drive, and they help a lot. 2. She knows how to gradually and appropriately fade prompts — which is essential for effective learning. 3. She analyzes why something isn’t working or what is causing stress, gives feedback, and offers practical solutions that actually work. 4. She is an experienced driver and can teach many useful tricks she has learned over the years. 5. She is simply a kind, supportive, and very pleasant instructor. After passing my test, I took a few more lessons with Denise to learn more advanced driving skills (like changing lanes, parking on the left side of the street, and other practical techniques). I also took a highway driving lesson with Monty — which was extremely helpful, and I highly recommend doing that after you pass your test. In addition, the school organizes the driving test process, which is very convenient. They schedule a lesson right before the exam, and then you go to the test together with your instructor. and you take the exam in the same car you’ve been practicing in, which makes the whole experience much more comfortable and less stressful. The administrative team is also very responsive and pleasant to work with. They answer calls during working hours and are available on weekends as well, and they always follow up via email, which was very helpful and convenient.

Monty was my instructor, he was great and personable, super helpful and taught me a lot. And I passed my road test on the first try!!

Perfect Park Driving School helped prepare me very well to pass my road test! Monty and Denise are both excellent instructors who help build your confidence in driving. I was having trouble on my intersections and Denise explained clearly how to properly approach the intersections and gave me great techniques to never get it wrong.
